Giving Thanks

Well, it is that time of year where we stuff our pathetic faces full of food, induce coma and then, when we feel our stomachs ache, we eat more.

We drove to NY on Thursday, leaving Philly at about 8:30am and didn't hit any traffic. I was quite surprised. Had thanksgiving at my wife's family in Rockville Center and then to my cousin's for dessert. Then on Friday to my sisters for another dinner that could not be beat.

Did the family rounds in three days and it is about time to go. Drive all over Long Island and then some. Family troubles along with the food comas, man it is all a trip (ha,ha). Saw my grandma, who at 88 is not doing too well. It was still a good time. Then to see my uncle Steven and his family. All in all it was a great time.

Man, what a holiday. Pass the sweet potatoes, please.
